I clear character houses in Fairfield and Oak Bay, often after a long life has closed within them, and the grief and the love of decades are both held in the rooms. The island's slower rhythm suits the work. I walk the whole home and its garden, and settle it gently, so a place full of memory can be lived in freely again.
Victoria keeps a slower, older rhythm at the island's edge, a city that already half-believes in the unseen. I come across for in-person work, and the water in between is no obstacle to a remote session.
For in-person work I fly out to Victoria. A visit is quoted all-in at $2,350, travel already inside the number, and I gather bookings in the city into a single trip so the day is full.
