I clear glass towers in Yaletown and old Craftsman houses in Kitsilano alike, and the two hold very different things: the towers a transient churn of renters, the character homes a deeper and older grief. The mountains and the sea help the work, they always do, but a house still needs walking room by room. I settle it so the light this city is famous for can actually reach inside it.
Vancouver sits between the mountains and the sea, a city that already leans toward the contemplative. I fly out to the coast for in-person work, and hold remote sessions with people across the Lower Mainland any week of the year.
