It is a limestone town with an unusual openness, the sort of place where reiki needs no defending, so clients arrive curious rather than braced to argue. That openness makes the energy easy to work with, quick to respond. From the Ward or up near the old church on the hill, a Guelph body shows me over video how ready it already is to shift. The unconventional streak in the town runs, just as plainly, through the people who live in it.
Guelph is my near neighbour, a limestone city a short drive up the road with a long streak of the unconventional in it. In-person work here is as simple as it gets.

About reiki
Reiki is a Japanese practice of channelled energy healing. You stay clothed and comfortable while I work with my hands on or just above the body, guiding energy to where it is needed. There is nothing you have to do except rest and let the session hold you.
People come to reiki carrying tension the body has held too long, or grief, or a stress that will not lift, or something they cannot name. It does not diagnose or treat illness. It works alongside good care, calming the system so the body can do what it knows how to do.
With me, reiki sits inside a fuller session: a little breathwork to settle, an honest conversation, the hands-on work, and a close that sends you out steadier than you came in.
