Hands-on healing in Edmonton

Reiki in Edmonton

A gentle, hands-on healing that settles the body and moves what is stuck. You lie down, I work with the energy, and you leave lighter.

Reiki in Edmonton, Alberta

Winter here is long enough to teach patience, and Edmonton people wear that steadiness well. What the cold hides is the cost of it, the way a body clenches quietly through months of dark and forgets it is allowed to unclench. The folks I work with near Whyte Avenue rarely notice how much they are gripping until reiki starts to move it. We meet over video in the deep of January, and a little warmth comes back into the held places. The steadiness stops being a brace and turns into something softer, something closer to rest.

Edmonton holds its long winters with a certain steadiness, a northern city that knows how to keep its own light. Most people here start with me remotely, through the dark months and past them, and I come north in person when a visit takes shape.

I work with people in Edmonton remotely, over video, with the same care as a session in the room. For in-person work I fly out to Edmonton. A visit is quoted all-in at $2,350, travel already inside the number, and I gather bookings in the city into a single trip so the day is full.

I also work with people in St Albert, Sherwood Park, Leduc, and the towns around Edmonton.

About reiki

Reiki is a Japanese practice of channelled energy healing. You stay clothed and comfortable while I work with my hands on or just above the body, guiding energy to where it is needed. There is nothing you have to do except rest and let the session hold you.

People come to reiki carrying tension the body has held too long, or grief, or a stress that will not lift, or something they cannot name. It does not diagnose or treat illness. It works alongside good care, calming the system so the body can do what it knows how to do.

With me, reiki sits inside a fuller session: a little breathwork to settle, an honest conversation, the hands-on work, and a close that sends you out steadier than you came in.

What it is good for

  • Deep rest and a calmer nervous system
  • Relief for stress, grief, and holding patterns
  • A settled body and a quieter mind
  • Support for the body alongside medical care
  • A sense of the field around you shifting
