The long climb
Celestial Ascent
The long contemplative climb toward the light. The thread that runs through the whole of the work.
Held remotely anywhere in Canada, or in person in your city.
What it is
Celestial ascent is the name I give to the long contemplative climb at the heart of the practice: the slow, patient movement toward the light that the older traditions describe. It is less a technique than the thread every other practice is strung on.
Breath grounds it, meditation opens it, the ceremonial arts give it structure, and theurgy gives it its highest reach. Held together over time, they become an ascent rather than a set of separate exercises.
This is the spine of the mentorship, and a taste of it closes The Whole Path immersion. It is walked over a lifetime, and begun with a single step.
What it is good for
- A through-line for the whole practice
- The patient climb the old traditions describe
- A lifetime's path, begun simply
- The spine of the mentorship
